First Post on the new blog

So I've been thinking about making the jump for a while and I think this is finally the right time. I realized that it was not fair for the rest of the world to limit my readers to have to navigate through myspace or facebook to find out about my amazing life. My blog should be available for the entire world..... and now it is!
So I have not been in very good communication with very many people since I moved to Aberdeen, Scotland and while I will take some of the blame its not all my fault. things here move really slow. I couldn't get a phone until i had a bank account, I couldn't get a bank account until I had a letter from work, No letter from work until I signed a new contract.... well you get the point. Mix in with all of that stores closing at 5 during the week (Except Shopping Thursday where they are open until 8 pm ???). Anyway, still no Internet at home either but I will work on that once I come back from offshore.
Before I get too far I want to put in my blog disclaimer: If you are offended by anything I write, don't read it. No one has a gun to anyone's head forcing you to read it. I don't think, but if they do i am really honored that someone with a gun is making you read my blog. Also I strive to tell the truth here. Sometimes it may be hard to read if its about you but feel free to comment if anyone thinks I am misleading the masses who are reading this. (And by masses i mean a select few in Calgary, some board engineer's in Texas and one random person in Montana Who are you buddy???)
