But seriously sorry if anyone actually does read this. I'll asume that the only people that read this are in calgary seeing as they have the biggest red dot on the map, and the other big one is in Aberdeen where I think I am the only one who reads it. But yea, Calgary... lots of time spent with awsome frends and having good times... although not as much drinking as I would have liked. SLB school got int he way for the middle week, but all in all an effective holiday.
Anyway, after that the intresting stuff that no one knows about happened. On my flight back it took a little longer than anticipated because England was in a storm of the century when i landed. Our plane got struck by lightning 3 times while we were circling waiting to land(Which the Pilot kept saying was normal but was worrying me a lot) After that we sat on the runway for 2 hours because there was no where to park because no flights were leaving. So we finally got a parking space and my flight to Aberdeen was cancled and I was supposed to wait in a crazy long line to talk to someone about it but basically I would have to sleep in the airport. SO instead I took a bus to my aunt's house and stayed with her until Sunday when things had calmed down. Too bad my luggage didn't arrive till yesterday and all my clothes were wet :-( Lots of laundry to do now.
On Thursday I went to Paris for the day for a meeting (I arived at 10:30 am and left at 2:30 pm so to say it was a fast trip would be an understatement). Anyway, I got what I needed to done (Lots of listing and me saying yes sir) and got back to Aberdeen in time to get some work done too :-)
Ok, thats all my fun for now. Loading out a job for west of the Shetland Islands now and should be there around the end of the week so I have a 3.5 hour chopper ride to lookforwards too.... and I already have a broken tail bone :-(
Wow, what a booring life. I'll try and do something more exciting soon and write about it.
Later
Ricky
